my stay at this absoluteley disappointing hotel was overshadowed by the filthy, old, and dusty rooms. Also, i couldn’t understand why there were no steps into the pool. it must be for the ‘exclusivity’. when i brought it up, surely they would ve given me a complimentary upgrade or something like that, but nope, just regular service. shocking.

The location is great, super close to Chiang Mai Town! 😍 The staff is super accommodating and the breakfast is a nice treat but the walls are thin, so you can hear everything at night.

The pool area was a serene escape.

Unfortunately, I found the bathrooms had a damp smell, which made for an unpleasant experience. Additionally, while the breakfast had good options, the dining area was crowded during peak hours, making it difficult to find a peaceful spot to enjoy my meal. I also noticed some areas in need of updates, with the decor feeling a bit dated, which was disappointing for the overall ambiance.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a lovely complimentary breakfast choice that fueled our exploring adventures. the saltwater pool was a refreshing treat after a day of sightseeing, and the convenient location just a short distance from the nearest airport was perfect for our travel plans.

Very clean space. super friendly staff. great European breakfast with delicious croissants. relaxing atmosphere around the pool area. laundry facilities were free and convenient.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Por Daowadung. The location was ideal, just a ten-minute walk from the old town filled with quaint shops. The pool area was a serene escape, and the complimentary coffee and refreshments were a delightful perk.

Some areas could use updates.

It was just a strong match for a transient visit in Chiang Mai with reasonable price. I appreciated the refreshing saltwater pool, a nice escape after a day out. Bring your own toiletries since there are no shelves in the bathroom.

The room was spacious with large windows and good lighting. Breakfast by the pool had a great spread, including handmade dishes and baked goods. The free snacks and drinks available all day were a delightful surprise—it felt like a mini-vacation within a vacation!
